Thursday was a beautiful day, got lots done, roamed the hood a couple of times. Lots of Yellow Rumped Warblers and Palm Warblers around. Did some more Spring cleaning and worked out in the yard after lunch. Larry got the lawn mowed for the first time after supper. Everyone has been seeing Rose Breasted Grosbeaks this week, we had one at the feeder yesterday afternoon - not the gorgeous male but the female. She's still pretty cool and I was happy to see her. Well it's Friday, so town/lunch day with Margie. Will try to get a few things done here first but I just might end up roaming the hood for a good portion of the morning depending on how bad the blackflies are and what I find. Going to rain all weekend so might as well take advantage of the good weather now.
The reason they are called Yellow Rumped Warblers.
Tulips are opening up nicely.
The first of our summer ducklings. I think there were four little ones, but she wasn't staying close enough to find out.
Female Rose Breasted Grosbeak.
Enjoy your day!
