Looking like a good day, sun is coming up. I can hear several Loons calling to one another in the lake and a Song Sparrow on the edge of the yard. Seems there are lots of Robins around these days, not sure if the young ones have started to become more active. They sure are a noise lot.
Rain cleared and the sun came out on Thursday but it was pretty drizzly when I started on my morning walk so I left Big B. at home. The mosquitoes are wicked - they can quickly take a chunk from you. Since I walk along the water edge and we've had rain, it only makes sense. Note to self - bug spray of some kind is needed. New skills learned at work - churning butter - lots of fun even if it was a bit messy. Tried for a few birds after supper, but it was blowing a gale and they weren't venturing out, so it's got to be flowers for today's photos. There are lots of those around now through the woods and gardens.
Iris' are beginning to open in the yard.
In just a day or two the Daisies have begun to appear along the roadside
and the Pink Clover.
Another from Lois' garden.
Enjoy your day
