Day 199 - 18th July 2014 - Flowers, Weeds and a Foggy Lake

I even stayed up a bit later last night and still got up at 4:30 am. Oh I hate that, makes for such a long day and I get really sluggish by the afternoon. Oh well best just suck it up and keep on moving.  It's Friday once again, the weeks fly by quickly. Today is the start of the Founder's Day Festivities in Town so I'm going to take my table and set up down by the Beandock for a good part of the day. See if I can sell a few books and our new souvenir ornaments that Debbie made for us. They are cute - a small bottle with sand and beach glass - a jute string at the top with NS tartan. The tag reads "take a piece of Shelburne County home".

A great day at work, had a few of my favourite people in from Ontario. Enjoying a morning with Matthew researching is always a treasure and boy does he ever make me work. It was the wettest day we've had all week so also meant that every time I went out I came back soaked. Good thing I keep an extra pair of shoes and sandals at the Centre. Cindy led us through another grueling evening of exercise - well I guess that's a good thing, if it was too easy wouldn't be much use!  Yesterday was not a great day for photos, so you are a bit short changed this morning, today will be better I'm sure!
I would venture a guess this looks like Foxglove but I don't think it is.

This leaves fool more from a distance - I keep thinking they are a bird.

A damp and dreary morning.

Not sure what this one is, although it's very tall and a single spike with yellow flowers. I think it's a weed of some sort.

Enjoy your day!
